The Five Elements Project was created by emerging creatives Donita Cruz, Lorraine Hong and Egan Sun-Bin. With accolades of many theatre awards, they aim to push and elevate Asian Australian theatre by creating new theatrical writing by tackling five genres that are normally dominated by white spaces. 

 

We aim to reclaim it through dynamic storytelling and theatrical experiences for audiences by creating five projects that represent the five elements. Once these five elements have been explored, the project will come to an end and the world will move on, but like all elements, they will stay with us, shaping the stories we carry now and into the future.
